I've been a writer in one form or another since I was a child. I was the kid that loved writing book reports.
I began a freelance career in earnest as a contract/telecommute writer and editor for a traditional and vanity press company. The work included writing book blurbs, press releases and bios.
I've worked in marketing, sales, radio, nonprofit and the arts. Each position or profession I found myself in throughout my career has shared a common thread--writing. Each one allowed me to stretch my creativity and use my skills as a writer on a regular basis.
I penned my own column in 2001 about health and fitness while working in Memphis radio and wrote several human-interest articles for a local newspaper while living near Charleston, S.C. I also lived near Manhattan for a few years and wrote for several professionals that allowed me the pleasure of visiting Manhattan landmarks and going into that magnificent city on a regular basis.
A wanderer at heart, I've lived in plenty of places and spaces. Traveling enriches my personal and professional life and enables me to be a better listener, observer and writer.
My passion is interpreting a client's ideas, raw material and/or thoughts into meaningful, creative prose that expresses individuality--the thing that sets them apart from everyone else.
Words matter; they have weight.
My clients are from everywhere and I have had the incredible opportunity to ghostwrite for some of them. Should you wish to view samples, please contact me.
